The Beginning of Dös Coffee Club

This should really be titled, “about me” because, at the time of writing this…I’m a one man team.
I spent the last 10 years building and consulting streetwear brands before realizing it seriously was not for me. I fell in love with streetwear when I was a teenager, but I fell out of love with it as I “grew up”
While all of this was happening, I was gifted an espresso machine.
It changed my life.
I knew this feeling all too well…it reminded me of 2012 when teenager me was discovering streetwear for the first time. I was falling in love all over again, but now with something much, much different – Coffee.
I spent countless hours learning, watching youtube videos (James Hoffman if you ever read this…thanks), and doing anything else I could to learn more about this little brown bean.
Then it hit me. One of my philosophies in life is “the best way to learn how to do anything is to start a business doing it.”
That’s exactly what Dös is for. It’s a platform for education, and not just for myself, but for my customers and my community too. I believe the old saying goes a bit like “power in numbers” or something? Yeah. That’s my exact thinking here.
This is about a community of folks seeking out the best coffees in the world and learning more about the craft of coffee. From farming, to sourcing, roasting, and then of course – brewing and drinking.
I believe that coffee should be more than just a routine part of your day. It should be an adventure for the taste buds and a moment of exploration. Coffee has the ability to tell stories, spark questions and conversations. It can turn the everyday ritual into a portal of insight and delight.
I founded Dös to share my joy of discovery with self-proclaimed coffee adventurers who want the most interesting beans from remote corners of the globe. The result? A lineup of intentional coffees, released on my online shop in very limited runs.
I choose origins I feel passionate about and focus on unique traits and processing methods.
Because while coffee starts as a bean, in the right hands it blooms into something marvelous.
The perfect dose of creative fuel for the consistently curious.
Join my coffee club and I'll be your passport to discovery.
